1. Check and make sure tha following file is available and works by double clicking
it:
C:PROGRA~1COMMON~1SystemMSMAPI1033mlcfg32.cpl
2. If it works then go to the registry and make sure this entry is present. If not
present, add it:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelMMCPL]
String Value: 'mlcfg32.cpl'='C:PROGRA~1COMMON~1SystemMSMAPI1033mlcfg32.cpl'
3. Relaunching Control Panel should display the Mail icon again.
